10xBible ("the app") is an offline Bible reading app for iOS. This policy describes how your information is handled.
Summary
10xBible stores your reading progress, settings, and stats on your device only. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data. We do not use analytics or tracking.
Information stored on your device
The app may store locally:
- Reading list configuration and current chapter positions
- Chapters completed, daily progress, streaks, and achievements
- App preferences (translation, font size, copy format)
This data stays in the app's local database on your iPhone. It is not transmitted to our servers because we do not operate servers for core app functionality.
Information we do not collect
- Name, email, or account credentials (no account required)
- Location
- Contacts or photos
- Advertising identifiers
- Usage analytics
Purchases
10xBible is a paid app on the App Store. Payment is processed entirely by Apple. We do not receive your payment details. Apple's privacy policy applies to App Store transactions: apple.com/legal/privacy.
Notifications (optional)
If you enable reading reminders in a future update, the app may schedule local notifications on your device. These are not sent from any server and do not transmit data off your device.
Bible translations
The app includes Bible text under the following terms:
- Berean Standard Bible (BSB) — Used by permission. © Berean Bible Translation Committee.
- World English Bible, King James Version, and American Standard Version — Public domain.
Children's privacy
The app does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at 10xbible.app/privacy.
